Different Absorbencies and the Materials We Use

At TCS-eco, each absorbency level is created using a carefully selected combination of high-performance core materials. We do not simply add lots of bulky layers. Instead, we use materials chosen for their speed, capacity and ability to hold liquid securely, helping us create pads that are thin, comfortable and highly absorbent.

Liner Absorbency — Up to 20 ml 3-5 tampons

Our liner pads are designed for light menstrual flow, discharge, spotting and light bladder leaks.

The core is made using organic cotton/hemp blended absorbent fabric. Hemp is naturally absorbent, durable and remains thin, making it ideal for everyday protection without unnecessary bulk, as it has no need to be processed (bamboo) and is naturally antimicrobial it is the best natural and environmentally friendly than ANY other core material available.

Regular Absorbency — Up to 50 ml 10 plus tampons

Regular pads are suitable for everyday menstrual flow and moderate bladder leaks.

These pads use Zorb 3D Organic Cotton, a specialist absorbent material designed to take in liquid quickly and hold a high volume without becoming excessively thick. Its three-dimensional structure helps move liquid through the fabric and away from the surface.

Heavy Absorbency — Up to 80 ml 15-20 tampons

Heavy pads are designed for heavier menstrual flow, rapid flow and heavier bladder leaks.

The core combines a layer of organic cotton/hemp blended fabric with a layer of Zorb 3D Organic Cotton. This combination provides fast absorption, increased capacity and excellent liquid retention while keeping the pad flexible and comfortable.

Night Absorbency — Up to 100 ml 20-25 tampons

Our night pads are suitable for very heavy menstrual flow, overnight protection and heavy bladder leaks.

The core contains two layers of Zorb 3D Organic Cotton, providing increased capacity and rapid absorption. Longer pad lengths also contain more absorbent material, so the absorbency increases with the size of the pad.

Confidence Absorbency — Up to 250 ml 60 plus tampons

Confidence pads are designed for extremely heavy flow, significant bladder leaks and customers who need maximum reassurance.

These pads use multiple layers of organic cotton/hemp blended fabric and Zorb 3D Organic Cotton to create our highest-capacity reusable pad. Despite the increased absorbency, the materials and construction are carefully balanced to reduce unnecessary bulk.

Why We Combine Different Materials

Every absorbent material behaves differently.

Organic cotton/Hemp blended  fabric offers excellent absorbency and durability while remaining relatively thin. Zorb 3D Organic Cotton absorbs liquid rapidly and holds a high volume, helping reduce pooling and compression leaks.

By combining these materials with our FloZone core design and specialist stitching techniques, we can guide liquid into the absorbent core, away from the edges and securely throughout the pad.

The result is a reusable pad that is thin, reliable and designed around the absorbency you genuinely need.
