Not all reusable pads are made in the same way. Although imported pads can appear cheaper at first glance, there can be significant differences in fit, absorbency, materials, construction and lifespan.

TCS-eco pads are made to order in Scotland. You can choose the shape, length, absorbency and top fabric that best suits your body, flow and personal preferences.
Imported pads are usually mass-produced in a limited range of standard shapes and sizes. This may make them less suitable for people who need additional width, longer coverage, a narrower fit or a specific absorbency level.
Clear and Consistent Absorbency
Every TCS-eco absorbency level is made using the same carefully selected core materials, giving you reliable and consistent protection.
Our pads are available from light liner absorbency through to extremely heavy protection. The longer and more absorbent the pad, the more absorbent material it contains.
Imported pads may be labelled as light, regular, heavy or night without clearly stating how much liquid they hold or which absorbent materials have been used. Two pads carrying the same description may perform very differently.
Designed to Manage Fast Flow
TCS-eco pads include our exclusive FloZone core design, which helps guide flow beneath the absorbent layers and towards the centre of the pad. This helps reduce edge flooding and makes better use of the full absorbent core.
Our core is also secured using specialist stitching techniques designed to improve stability, absorbency and long-term performance.
Many imported pads use a simple rectangular core without specialist flow-channel technology. This can allow liquid to spread towards the edges before the centre of the pad has reached its full capacity.
Thin Without Compromising Protection
TCS-eco combines highly absorbent materials with carefully developed construction methods to create pads that are thin, flexible and comfortable.
Some cheaper pads rely on multiple layers of lower-performing absorbent fabric. This can create a thicker, bulkier pad without necessarily providing better protection.

With imported pads, it may be difficult to confirm the exact fabric composition, manufacturing standards or substances used during production.
We do not advertise plastic free, it is a major IKE for us. No reusable pad is plastic free, people who advertise that are greenwashing you, they unbelievable are using this statement because they are reducing single use plastic... melts my brain!!!
Encased and Protected Construction
TCS-eco pads are made with enclosed edges and carefully protected stitching. There are no exposed absorbent layers sewn into the outside of the pad (unlike most imports), helping protect the core and waterproof backing during repeated washing and wear.
Some imported pads use exposed overlocked edges or bias binding. These methods can create additional seams around the edge, increase irritation against skin and often provide more opportunities for moisture to travel through the stitching.

Every TCS-eco pad is made as a long-term reusable product rather than a disposable-style purchase.
Our pads are designed to withstand regular washing and repeated use while maintaining their shape, absorbency and performance. We guarantee a minimum of 120 washes (10 years of monthly use) when the correct care instructions are followed, or a replacement.
Cheaper imported pads may cost less initially, but they can become more expensive if they need to be replaced more frequently.
