TCS-eco: Where It All Began

A little background about me, Kerry, founder of TCS-eco.

Before TCS-eco, I studied Immunology and Microbiology at Strathclyde University, followed by a further year at Paisley University. I then worked in a cell biology department for several years. When I left lab work, I never imagined that the knowledge and attention to detail I had gained there would one day transfer into making reusable period pads.

My journey into reusable products started when my son was born. I made the switch to cloth nappies and quickly realised that, although I wanted beautiful nappies, I did not want to pay the huge prices often attached to them. So, I started making my own.

That led to plenty of leftover fabric scraps, and I did not want to see them go into the bin. From that simple waste-reduction mindset, TCS-eco was born.

Over the years, the products have gone through many stages of innovation and development. From finding the right core materials and topping fabrics, to sourcing the only backing material specifically designed for reusable period pads, every part of a TCS-eco pad has been carefully considered.

We know what matters most to our customers: comfort, confidence and reliable leak-proof protection. That is why every material and design choice has a purpose, creating pads that are soft against the skin, secure in use and made to cope with real life.

The result is an exceptionally thin pad with serious absorbency. Our pads are designed to offer performance that goes beyond mass-produced imported reusable pads and disposable equivalents, without compromising on comfort, quality or sustainability.

That has not happened overnight. It is the result of 14 years of development, learning, testing and constantly improving what we make.

TCS-eco has always been about creating products that reduce waste, last for years and genuinely work for real bodies, real flows and real life.
